Plan Builder Enhancements
We’ve made powerful updates to Plan Builder to give you more flexibility and control when generating recommendations for your plan.
• Target specific areas for improvement: Choose which parts of your plan you want to focus on enhancing. Select multiple or specific Value Fields to get targeted recommendations that get you closer to your planning goals.
• Set your budget tolerance: Define how much of your total budget you’re comfortable spending.
• Filter your recommendations: Apply project filters to get suggestions for specific categories of projects.
• Visualize value distribution: See how value is distributed across funded projects before and after applying recommendations, helping you understand where your
investments are going across high and low value projects.
• Smarter multi-year planning: When planning across multiple years, Plan Builder can now shift unfunded projects between time periods with available budgets, giving you more flexibility to fund what matters most.
Prioritization Toolkit
The Prioritization Toolkit is Decision Lens’ newest module, designed to help portfolio managers run collaborative prioritization exercises and gather expert input to assess their portfolio projects. This module is now available for early access and testing for customers in instances ending in decisionlens.com.
• Create prioritizations: Select projects from your portfolios to include in prioritizations
• Gather input with surveys: Build surveys with custom Group Rating fields and send them to subject matter experts for evaluation.
• Simplified rating experience: Raters can easily provide their ratings through an intuitive new survey view.
• Track survey results: Monitor survey progress and see which stakeholders have completed their ratings.
• Visualize results: Explore multiple results views, including the Value Score Chart and Scoresheet, to better understand project performance.
• Save Prioritizations: Save the compartmentalized prioritization exercise and leverage results for portfolio decision making.
Bugs Fixed
• The Contributors header now appears correctly in the Activity Panel when transferring costs.
• Cost Table name cells are no longer editable for participants.
• Activity Log timestamps now show the correct date.
• Costs now carry over when duplicating a project as a contributor.
• Debottleneck Analysis shows the correct months for both calendar and fiscal year portfolios.
• PDF previews no longer include extra plain text at the bottom.
• Fixed an “Index out of bounds” error when getting recommendations in large portfolios.
• Improved reliability by limiting database connection retries during initialization.
